Solid state coupling relays are used for indirect separation of the control and main circuits. Switching signals and input signal can be coupled in spite of different voltages. Solid state coupling relays adapt power during transmission by means of electrical separation while also avoiding the risk of mechanical failure.  Solid state relays provide switching via semiconductors or other methods of non mechanical contact, which provides a virtually infinite service life.
